Chad Kirkhart has stepped down as head football coach at Hilldale High School. Kirkhart confirmed the move on Thursday afternoon.
He steps down after compiling a 74-23 record in eight seasons. The Hornets picked up district titles on Kirkhart’s watch in 2012, 2016 and most recently in 2017.
In 2017, the Hornets claimed the 4A-4 crown and went 10-2. Hilldale, however, was eliminated from the playoffs in the quarterfinals with a 21-17 loss to Bethany.
