Oologah has removed Chase Kime as head football coach, Skordle has learned through multiple sources on Wednesday night.
Attempts to contact Oologah superintendent Max Tanner were unsuccessful to confirm the change.
One source indicated that a member of the booster club said that the booster club's point of contact had been changed, meaning a change had been made at head coach.
Oologah athletic director Brady DeSpain said he could not comment on personnel matters.
Kime, one game into his head-coaching tenure, took over for Brandon Craig during the offseason. Kime had recently served as the Mustangs' defensive coordinator under Craig.
Oologah lost its season-opening game at Collinsville last week. The Mustangs are slated to host Skiatook on Friday.
