In Edmond/North OKC metro, there is an incredible Mexican place that you must try if haven’t yet – Leonardo’s Mexican Grill located at 2125 NW 178th Street.
Thanks to the encouragement and recommendation of SKORDLE Pay Dirt celebrity host Andy Campbell and some of our neighbors down the street, Leonardo’s Mexican Grill has become one of our favorite places to eat in the metro area!
Inside, Leonardo’s has a very nice, clean and welcoming dining area where wait staff will greet you with both kindness and promptness!
Traditional setup is always included with the chips, traditional red salsa, yellow cheese and the knockout 5-star green salsa which we will discuss further in just a minute.
Food is served hot and fresh and the portions are perfect.
While everything inside is top notch at Leonardo’s, where they have really excelled in my opinion during the last year or so is the takeout business.
My dine in/take out ratio here is about 25%/75%, and mainly this is because they do such a great job with their takeout. It’s also probably because it’s on the way home back from the many trips to the OKC area.
Dining in or carrying out, either is perfect when it comes to Leonardo’s Mexican Grill.
Now, let’s discuss my favorite items at Leonardo’s.
First and foremost is the Green Salsa, Salsa Verde, Avocado Salsa, Jalapeno Crema, or Cilantro Jalapeno Avocado Sauce.
For this article, we will go with Green Salsa because that’s what I call it and it is simply out of this world!
