As I have done in the past, I'm going to link 2 of my previous blogs as a memorium or - you might say - a "rest in peace" to honor my fondness and appreciation of three of my favorite Oklahoma food places.

It is absolutely tragic that people no longer will be able to enjoy Thai Cafe, Ingrid’s or Leonardo’s.

The restaurant business is tough and it just really stinks that these three places are no longer in operation for all Oklahomans to enjoy.

We will just have to always remember the good times and numerous full bellies these places gave all of us over the years…and may they rest in peace.

In early October, loyal Thai Cafe fans were stunned to learn that the Stillwater staple for over 20 years and counting would be shutting their doors for good.

This is a major downer for anyone that loved Thai Cafe and what some view as maybe the best Thai food anywhere around.

In, 2020 I wrote about Thai Cafe and the affinity my friends and I had for the place during and after our time in college in Stillwater.

Thai Cafe's Spicy Noodles, Fried Rice and Red Duck Curry will forever be in my heart and will never be forgotten.

I know my college friend group is absolutely crushed. RIP Thai Cafe!

When I clicked on my previous Thai Cafe post, I noticed that it also contained within that same blog my story about another one of my favorites, Ingrid’s Kitchen.

Ingrid’s turned out authentic German food for many years along with maybe the best Sunday brunch you could ever find in the OKC metro.

Unfortunately, Ingrid’s has also closed permanently and what a shame!

The Sunday Brunch spread was legendary and, to top it all off, the cakes and desserts at Ingrid’s were absolutely incredible.

RIP Ingrid's Kitchen!

Finally, it is time to say goodbye to Leonardo's Mexican Grill in North Edmond.

It has closed permanently as well.

While Leonardo's longevity was much shorter than the other two, it provided its loyal fans some of the absolute best Mexican food anyone could get in my humble opinion.

Leonardo’s really made a name for itself at a rapid rate for its incredible food both dining in or carrying out.

Besides the ultra fresh food, the loss of the fan favorites of white queso and famous green sauce has left a hole many people's hearts.

However, Mia Salsa All Day on Facebook is still selling the great white queso and green sauce if you ever want to get some.

RIP Leonardo's Mexican Grill!
